Beach Time

Can you guess what footprint belongs to who?

These are a few of our favorite pictures from our time at the beach. These are from Saugatuck Dunes State Park just south of Holland. We visited a couple weeks ago for the 1st time. We enjoyed a nice hike through the trees before reaching the beach.

On the way back to our car, it started to get dark pretty fast. The mosquitos were out and on the hunt. We knew that a leisurely hike back might result in a buffet of Jake and Jessica for them. After pondering this scenario, we thought it would be best if we ran back. It was only a mile or so back to the car. We took off and ran the entire way. Nothing like a Sunday night run in the dark ;/


This past weekend we visited a new state park for us - Van Buren State Park. This was a nice park with lots of open area for kids and bbq's and such. A very beautiful sunset this time too.

Jake found a big hole in the sand, which everyone seemed to be interested in.
